Why Christian moms struggle with receiving love - EPS 84
Wednesday Feb 11, 2026
Wednesday Feb 11, 2026
Why do so many Christian moms find it easy to give love… but hard to receive it?
Many Christian moms have learned how to serve, sacrifice, and hold everything together. But when it comes to receiving love, whether from a spouse, a friend, or from God, it can feel unfamiliar.
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I'm talking about why receiving love feels hard and what that reveals about how you see your worth.
I share:
💜 How self-sacrifice can shape your identity.
💜 Why love becomes tied to performance.
💜 What makes receiving feel vulnerable.
💜 How to begin seeing yourself as worthy just as you are.
As we continue through February, the month of love, this episode invites you to reflect on something deeper: Are you allowing yourself to be loved too?

Why Knowing You Need Self-Care Isn’t Enough - EPS 83
Tuesday Feb 03, 2026
Tuesday Feb 03, 2026
If you’re a Christian mom who feels emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, or unsure how to even begin caring for yourself, this episode is for you.
Maybe you’ve tried self-care before and it didn’t last.
Or maybe you haven’t practiced it at all because it always felt like one more thing to add to your to do list.
Most moms already know they should take care of themselves. That’s not the issue. The issue is why knowing hasn’t changed how we live.
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I’m talking about why awareness alone doesn’t lead to real change for moms dealing with emotional exhaustion, burnout, and mom guilt.
This episode is about recognizing what needs to be addressed internally, taking responsibility for your own growth, and understanding why effort alone isn’t enough without support and structure.
You’ll hear:
💜 Why generational cycles don’t change just because you know better.
💜 How mom guilt interferes whether you try self-care or avoid it altogether.
💜 What actually helps moms move from awareness into consistent action.
This episode isn’t about shame or judgment. It’s about honesty. Honest reflection, intentional effort, and choosing a different reality for you.
Self-care is stewardship, and caring for yourself is part of honoring what God entrusted to you.

Protecting Your Energy as a Mom - EPS 82
Wednesday Jan 28, 2026
Wednesday Jan 28, 2026
As moms, many of us have learned to serve from a place of exhaustion. We put ourselves on the back burner, push through emotional fatigue, and tell ourselves this is just part of motherhood.
We have to learn to protect our energy. Protecting your energy isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s about letting go of what no longer serves you in a positive way.
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I’m sharing what it really looks like to protect your energy as a mom by making intentional choices, setting small boundaries, and releasing the patterns that keep you emotionally drained.
In this episode, I address:
💜 Why letting go requires action, not avoidance.
💜 How small boundaries make a big difference.
💜 Saying no without explaining or feeling guilty.

Self Care Isn’t Selfish, It’s Stewardship - EPS 80
Wednesday Jan 14, 2026
Wednesday Jan 14, 2026
If you’re a Christian mom who feels guilty for resting, setting boundaries, or taking time for yourself, you’re not alone. Many moms were taught that being a good mom means putting yourself on the back burner. But that mindset leads to serving from a place of exhaustion, not peace.
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I’m reframing self-care through a biblical lens and sharing why it’s necessary for your emotional, spiritual, and mental well-being.
In today’s episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I address:💜 Why self-care can feel wrong for moms.💜 The difference between mom guilt and conviction.💜 Why self-care is necessary so you’re not serving from a place of exhaustion.💜 Simple ways to care for your mind, body, and spirit in a busy season.
Your needs and wants matter too. And taking care of yourself is part of stewardship, not selfishness.

Why Moms Struggle with Self-Care in January - EPS 79
Tuesday Jan 06, 2026
Tuesday Jan 06, 2026
January can feel overwhelming for moms. After the holidays, exhaustion sets in, motivation feels low, and self-care often gets pushed aside again in the new year.
If you’ve been telling yourself you’ll take care of yourself later, wondering why your goals already feel out of reach, or feeling worn down without knowing why, this episode is for you.
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I’m sharing:
💜 Why New Year’s resolutions don’t always work for moms.
💜 Why 'I’ll take care of me later' never seems to come.
💜 How emotional exhaustion is a signal, not a weakness.
💜 Why January often intensifies burnout for moms.
This conversation isn’t about doing more or pushing harder. It’s about understanding what your mind, body, and spirit are asking for in this season.
If you’re a mom who feels tired, overwhelmed, or unsure how to care for yourself right now, you are not alone.

Finding Peace and Rest this Christmas - EPS 77
Tuesday Dec 23, 2025
Tuesday Dec 23, 2025
The Christmas season can be beautiful, but it can also feel overwhelming for moms.
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I’m encouraging Christian moms to seek peace instead of perfection during the Christmas season. I share a real-life moment from the store and how remembering the reason for the season, celebrating Jesus’ birth, helped me reset my mindset and respond with peace.
We reflect on Mary’s example in the Christmas story and talk about why rest matters for moms, especially when life feels full. Rest doesn’t always mean taking a nap. Sometimes it looks like slowing your thoughts, releasing unrealistic expectations, and choosing presence over pressure.
As the year comes to a close, this episode invites you to pause, reflect, and consider how you want to carry peace and rest into the new year.

Peace Over Perfection: Christian Mom Holiday Reset - EPS 75
Wednesday Dec 10, 2025
Wednesday Dec 10, 2025
The holidays can stir up a lot joy, busyness, and for many Christian moms… the pressure to make everything perfect.
But perfection isn’t the goal. Peace and purpose is.
On this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I’m inviting you to shift your focus this season. Instead of trying to do it all flawlessly, let’s talk about:
💜 Seeking purpose over perfection.
💜 Pausing to reflect before saying yes.
💜 Creating space to rest in the midst of it all.
💜 Trusting scripture as your anchor for peace.
You don’t have to earn rest. You don’t have to say yes to everything. And you’re not failing if your holidays don’t look picture-perfect.
God’s peace is a gift and it’s available right now.
Perfect for:
• Christian moms feeling overwhelmed by holiday expectations.
• Moms craving peace and spiritual alignment.
• A quick pause to reflect before the week gets away from you.
