💜 Why self-forgiveness matters in motherhood.💜 How guilt can affect your home, your peace, and your relationships.💜 Simple ways to begin letting go and creating a more loving atmosphere in your home.

3 Scriptures That Remind Moms They Matter Too - EPS 88
Wednesday Mar 11, 2026
Wednesday Mar 11, 2026
Motherhood is beautiful, but it can also be exhausting.
Many Christian moms feel like they have to do everything for everyone else while putting their own needs on the back burner. Over time, that emotional and spiritual exhaustion begins to affect how you feel, how you respond to your family, and how you show up in your own life.
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I’m sharing three powerful scriptures that remind us of something many moms forget: You matter too.
We’ll look at what the Bible says about building your home, caring for yourself, and responding when you feel weary and overwhelmed.
They are reminders that God cares about you, your well-being, and the condition of your heart as much as the work you do for your family.
If you’ve been feeling emotionally drained, spiritually tired, or like you’ve been carrying too much for too long, this episode will encourage you and remind you of the truth God speaks over your life as a mom.
In this episode, we talk about:
💜 Proverbs 14:1 and what it really means to build your home.💜 Why loving others includes caring for yourself too (Mark 12:31).💜 Why your emotional and spiritual health matters in motherhood.
If this message resonates with you and you’re realizing that you’ve been putting yourself on the back burner, I want to personally invite you to join my Moms Matter Too Challenge.
This 7-day experience is designed to help moms begin caring for themselves in a way that supports their emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
You’ll receive short daily encouragement, simple reflections, and practical ways to begin including yourself again.

What Changes When You Believe You’re Worthy of Love - EPS 86
Tuesday Feb 24, 2026
Tuesday Feb 24, 2026
Have you ever wondered what would actually change in your life if you truly believed you were worthy of love?
Not just saying God loves you, but truly embracing it and living like it’s true. I
n this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I’m sharing what shifts when Christian moms stop questioning their worth and starts living like they are already loved.
Because when you believe you’re worthy of love:
💜 You don’t feel the need to justify why you need self-care.
💜 You don’t apologize for making yourself a priority.
💜 You allow yourself to be supported without feeling like you owe something in return.
So many Christian moms question their worth. Sometimes it shows up as self-doubt. Sometimes it shows up as mom guilt. And sometimes it shows up as feeling more comfortable being needed than being loved.
This episode is about shifting that belief and embracing your self-worth in Christ. It’s about receiving love without feeling like you have to earn it. It’s about living secure in who God says you are.
And if you’re ready to go deeper, I want to invite you to join me for Learning to Receive Love on February 28th at 10am CST. Inside this class, you’ll begin shifting the belief that love must be earned and learn how to live secure in your identity as a woman of God.

You are already loved. Now you get to decide whether you’ll live like it. 💜

Why Being Needed Feels Safer Than Being Loved - EPS 85
Wednesday Feb 18, 2026
Wednesday Feb 18, 2026
Have you ever felt like feeling mom guilt means you are a good mom?
Like if you stopped feeling bad about resting, saying no, or taking space… you might be a bad mom?
Many Christian moms have been taught that self-sacrifice equals love. That being strong means carrying everything. That feeling guilty is conviction.
But what if being needed feels safer than being loved?
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I'm talking about why so many moms feel more comfortable being needed than being loved and what that reveals about how you view your worth.
I talk about:
💜 How mom guilt is passed down.
💜 Why self-sacrifice can become your identity.
💜 The belief underneath it all: Do I actually believe I’m worthy of love?
💜 A faith-based reminder of who you are in Christ.
It’s about asking a deeper question: Do I believe I am worthy of love without earning it?
Because when worth is questioned, receiving will always feel uncomfortable.
If this episode resonates you, I want to invite you to join me for Learning to Receive Love at the end of this month. We’re going deeper into breaking the belief that love must be earned and learning how to feel secure in receiving love from God, others, and even yourself.

Why Christian moms struggle with receiving love - EPS 84
Wednesday Feb 11, 2026
Wednesday Feb 11, 2026
Why do so many Christian moms find it easy to give love… but hard to receive it?
Many Christian moms have learned how to serve, sacrifice, and hold everything together. But when it comes to receiving love, whether from a spouse, a friend, or from God, it can feel unfamiliar.
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I'm talking about why receiving love feels hard and what that reveals about how you see your worth.
I share:
💜 How self-sacrifice can shape your identity.
💜 Why love becomes tied to performance.
💜 What makes receiving feel vulnerable.
💜 How to begin seeing yourself as worthy just as you are.
As we continue through February, the month of love, this episode invites you to reflect on something deeper: Are you allowing yourself to be loved too?

Why Knowing You Need Self-Care Isn’t Enough - EPS 83
Tuesday Feb 03, 2026
Tuesday Feb 03, 2026
If you’re a Christian mom who feels emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, or unsure how to even begin caring for yourself, this episode is for you.
Maybe you’ve tried self-care before and it didn’t last.
Or maybe you haven’t practiced it at all because it always felt like one more thing to add to your to do list.
Most moms already know they should take care of themselves. That’s not the issue. The issue is why knowing hasn’t changed how we live.
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I’m talking about why awareness alone doesn’t lead to real change for moms dealing with emotional exhaustion, burnout, and mom guilt.
This episode is about recognizing what needs to be addressed internally, taking responsibility for your own growth, and understanding why effort alone isn’t enough without support and structure.
You’ll hear:
💜 Why generational cycles don’t change just because you know better.
💜 How mom guilt interferes whether you try self-care or avoid it altogether.
💜 What actually helps moms move from awareness into consistent action.
This episode isn’t about shame or judgment. It’s about honesty. Honest reflection, intentional effort, and choosing a different reality for you.
Self-care is stewardship, and caring for yourself is part of honoring what God entrusted to you.

Protecting Your Energy as a Mom - EPS 82
Wednesday Jan 28, 2026
Wednesday Jan 28, 2026
As moms, many of us have learned to serve from a place of exhaustion. We put ourselves on the back burner, push through emotional fatigue, and tell ourselves this is just part of motherhood.
We have to learn to protect our energy. Protecting your energy isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s about letting go of what no longer serves you in a positive way.
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I’m sharing what it really looks like to protect your energy as a mom by making intentional choices, setting small boundaries, and releasing the patterns that keep you emotionally drained.
In this episode, I address:
💜 Why letting go requires action, not avoidance.
💜 How small boundaries make a big difference.
💜 Saying no without explaining or feeling guilty.

Self Care Isn’t Selfish, It’s Stewardship - EPS 80
Wednesday Jan 14, 2026
Wednesday Jan 14, 2026
If you’re a Christian mom who feels guilty for resting, setting boundaries, or taking time for yourself, you’re not alone. Many moms were taught that being a good mom means putting yourself on the back burner. But that mindset leads to serving from a place of exhaustion, not peace.
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I’m reframing self-care through a biblical lens and sharing why it’s necessary for your emotional, spiritual, and mental well-being.
In today’s episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I address:💜 Why self-care can feel wrong for moms.💜 The difference between mom guilt and conviction.💜 Why self-care is necessary so you’re not serving from a place of exhaustion.💜 Simple ways to care for your mind, body, and spirit in a busy season.
Your needs and wants matter too. And taking care of yourself is part of stewardship, not selfishness.
